Diagnosis
The diagnosis of atopic dermatitis is based on clinical findings and the course of disease. Additionally, further diagnostic tests for allergies may be performed (blood and skin test for inhalativeand food allergens and eventually patch tests with contact allergens, e.g., in case of occupational exposure to specific contact allergens.
