Allergy-friendly house paint from setta receives ECARF Seal of Quality

Curasan Plus Premiumweiss

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) has awarded the interior wall and ceiling paint “Curasan Plus Premiumweiß” from the brand setta with the ECARF Seal of Quality. Laboratory tests carried out in collaboration with ECARF have shown that the paint is suitable for use by allergic persons.

The paint is produced without solvents, preservatives or softeners. It also does not contain  fogging active substances that leave hygienically worrisome soot-like residue on walls.

"Allergic persons who need to do a painting job at home can use this product," says Prof. Dr. med. Torsten Zuberbier, head of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF). “In comparison with many conventional paint products on the market, the components are much less harmful to skin and respiratory passages. The paint is also less hazardous for the environment.”

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) awards the ECARF Seal of Quality to allergy-friendly products and services according to scientifically determined criteria. The Seal offers practical solutions for allergy sufferers to significantly reduce contact with allergens and allergy triggers.

The interior house paint „Curasan Plus Premiumweiß“, oriented toward allergic persons, is produced by the company VFG Verbund Farbe und Gestaltung GmbH in Cologne.
