Specific requirements for services
The ECARF Seal of Approval aims at the certification of products and services that are specially adapted for persons suffering from allergies.
In general, the seal can be awarded to all services like 
hotels, cafés, coffee houses, convenience food stores, restaurants, or e.g. cleaning services provided that the manufacturer or service provider fulfils the specific quality requirements guaranteeing a better quality of life for allergics. Liability for the truth of all product specifications and fulfilment of the criteria is solely with the manufacturers. The seal is based on general claims and does not guarantee the individual tolerability of a product.
