3rd International Consensus Meeting on Urticaria
GA²LEN/EAACI/EDF Urticaria 2008
04 - 05 Dec 2008 - Germany - Berlin
The consensus meeting is the largest in the field of Urticaria worldwide. It is held every four years and results in the international guidelines on Urticaria.
During the meeting, a pre-selected expert group from the societies discusses their suggestions for changes to the guidelines with the audience. According to our rules the evaluation of study results follows evidence-based medicine and the GRADE system will be used for recommendations.
Participation is limited to 250-300 dermatologists, paediatricians and allergologists who have already taken their board exam and who are actively treating urticaria patients. They will be included in the preparation process of the guidelines and, finally, will be allowed to vote on each of the statements.
The meeting is organised in collaboration with GA²LEN, EAACI, ECARF and the Urticaria Network e.V - UNEV.
