European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation: Free Quality Seal Award

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) welcomes the action plan of the Bundesministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz (Federal Ministry of Nutrition, Agriculture and Consumer Protection) which was introduced on 13th March, 2007. More than 1/3 of the population suffers from allergies.

ECARF’s Quality Seal for allergy-friendly products and services fits perfectly with the Ministry’s goal of protecting consumers with allergies. The seal helps people with allergies find allergy friendly products and services.  The Seal represents guaranteed quality control and support of consumer needs.  It helps people suffering from an allergy manage risk in their daily lives, according to the ECARF motto: “For a better life with allergies,” says Prof.Torsten Zuberbier, head of ECARF.
