ECARF offers a varied work environment, and its volunteers have the opportunity to make a difference. ECARF’s gap year volunteers help ECARF reach its goal of educating the public about allergies and their implications.
The voluntary gap year is an educational offering for young people, combining practical work experience with educational components. Seminars include presentations on ECARF’s work, but also topics on politics and society. The year is intended to give young people insight into the working world, and to develop their confidence and sense of self.
"As a non-profit foundation, we are happy to support the social engagement of young people looking for voluntary work," said Prof. Torsten Zuberbier, head of ECARF.
