Air Purifier for Allergic Persons receives ECARF Seal of Quality

Air Cleaner TURMIX AX 500

The European Foundation for Allergy Research ECARF has distinguished the air purifier TURMIX AX 500, made by DKB Household AG, with the ECARF Seal of Quality. The machine is equipped with a HEPA filter. It removes the smallest particles such as house dust, animal hair, and pollen from the air and is therefore recommendable for allergic persons.

The air purifier’s ionizer enriches the air with negative ions, as happens naturally in fresh air. The machine is suitable for living spaces and offices.

“The excellent features of the air purifier TURMIX AX 500 can significantly improve daily life – and thus overall quality of life – for allergy sufferers,” according to Professor Dr. med. Torsten Zuberbier, head of the European Foundation for Allergy Research ECARF and the Allergy Centre Charité.

ECARF awards its Seal of Quality throughout Europe at no cost to products and services suitable for allergy sufferers. The Seal offers orientation for allergy sufferers and is an assurance of an inspected quality product.
