Gluten-free: VITACEL Wheat Fibre awarded the ECARF Seal of Quality

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) has awarded VITACEL Wheat Fibre, a concentrated dietary fibre, the "Seal of Quality" for allergy-friendly products and services because its is gluten-free, phytin-free and does not contain genetically modified organism.

In celiac disease, the small intestine’s mucous membranes react negatively to the grain protein gluten, which is present in many native grain types. Phytin is present in all seeds from plants and thus also in whole-grain products, legumes, and nuts.
