People who suffer from pollen allergies can take a deep breath when it’s frosty and cold out. But next spring will still come all too soon. In recent years, doctors have been developing a new treatment method to make spring as carefree as it should be: allergies can now be countered with desensitization. However, there are many myths about this therapy, which is also called specific immunotherapy. The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation is here to clear up misconceptions about desensitization and to inform you about the newest scientific discoveries about the treatment (
