Meltem air filter receives ECARF Seal of Quality

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) has awarded the Meltem M-WRG home air filter with the ECARF Seal of Quality for allergy-friendly products and services. Assessment by ECARF experts has shown that the appliance meets the expert criteria for certification.

"For allergy sufferers, this air filter can mean a significant increase in quality of life", points out Prof. Dr. med. Torsten Zuberbier, head of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF). "The appliance almost completely removes allergens such as dust mites, pollen or animal hair from indoor air. The constant exchange of air lessens asthma and allergy symptoms."

The indoor air filter is equipped with high performance G4 filters for both incoming and outgoing air that trap large particles such as pollen. The incoming air vent can also be fitted with a special F7 allergy filter that catches finer particles and many kinds of bacteria. Air contaminated with allergens such as dust mites, pollen or animal hair is replaced by clean, pre-warmed air in a constant cycle.

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) awards the ECARF Seal of Quality according to scientifically determined criteria to products and services that meet the needs of allergic persons. The seal offers allergy sufferers practical solutions to help reduce contact with allergens and allergy triggers.
