Category: ECARF Quality Seal, Non-Food

The cooking oil Albaöl HC (Health Care) has been awarded with the Seal of Quality from the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF).

It fulfils the requirements for the ECARF seal in all areas, including production process, composition and uses and its listing of ingredients, and the product can now be marketed as allergy-friendly. “The number of persons affected by allergies continues to increase each year. The ECARF Seal of Quality provides allergy sufferers and other interested parties with reliable recommendations and thereby contributes to improving quality of life,” explains Prof. Dr. Torsten Zuberbier, Head of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation.

Albaöl HC is produced from canola and linseed oils. Although it is made entirely of plant substances, it tastes and smells like fresh butter. The oil is entirely free of cholesterol and contains particularly beneficial amounts of the unsaturated acids omega 6 to omega 3. Its composition makes it compatible with diets intended to prevent infection and reduce fat. With its extremely low viscosity, Albaöl HC can also be sprayed, for example onto baking trays, pans or salads, making it easy to use in sparing amounts.

Albaöl is produced by the company Taste of Sweden, located in Dalby, Sweden.
