CASADRON^® E-series Electrostatic Air Filter designated as allergy-friendly

The electrostatic air filters of the CASADRON^® E-series have been awarded the Seal of Quality for allergy-friendly products and services by the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation.

CASADRON^® is an indoor air filtration system produced by Gutmann Gesundheitstechnologie GmbH & Co. KG in Pforzheim. The round electrostatic filters of the CASADRON^® E-series are used in households as well as in schools, museums, libraries, or medical facilities, and also in food-service facilities and on ships. The device is recommended for persons who suffer from allergic asthma or hay fever.
 
The filtration capacity corresponds to the level of a HEPA filter of particle filter class H11, which guarantees elimination of more than 95% of particles. The acronym HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Airfilter. The CASADRON^® filters also trap particles as small as 6 nm (6 nanometre = 6 millionths of a millimetre). Particles of this size, due to their suspension properties, are of particular concern in causing respiratory sensitivity or allergic reactions.

Tests have shown that CASADRON^® E-series electrostatic air filters fulfil the requirements for the ECARF Seal of Quality. The Seal has been awarded for a period of two years.
