Category: ECARF Quality Seal, Non-Food
The seven make-up products for professional use in theatre, film and television now carry the ECARF Seal of Quality because they have shown themselves in laboratory and clinical tests to be particularly suited for use on sensitive skin and for patients with neurodermatitis. “It is important to test decorative cosmetics, as they often have long and intensive contact with skin. The use of cosmetics in professional contexts can be particularly problematic for persons with sensitive skin”, explained Prof. Dr. med. Torsten Zuberbier, head of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation. The Kryolan products “High Definition Smoothing Fluid”, “High Definition Matifying Liquid”, “High Definition Glamouring Flow”, “High Definition On Air”, “High Definition Micro Foundation Cream” and “High Definition Cache” were tested against causing skin irritation or itchiness. The “Aquacolor” make-up was also awarded the ECARF Seal for its allergy-friendly attributes. Kryolan GmbH in Berlin has specialised in producing cosmetics for professional use for more than 60 years.
