ECARF honours Hilton Vienna as "allergy-friendly"

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) has awarded the Hilton Vienna Hotel with the ECARF Seal of Quality for allergy-friendly products and services.
"The Hilton Vienna is excellently equipped to meet the needs of allergy sufferers," Prof. Dr. med. Torsten Zuberbier, head of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation, explained. "Its services make travelling much easier for allergic persons." The allergy-friendly rooms contain no carpeting and are equipped with windows that can be opened for ventilation. Mattresses are covered with mite-proof protective encasings. The restaurant offers allergy-friendly menus. The hotel staff is specially trained to respond competently to questions about allergy-friendly offerings.
With the goal of improving quality of life for allergy sufferers, ECARF awards the Seal of Quality according to scientific criteria to products and services Europe-wide that have shown themselves useful to allergy sufferers in every day life. The Hilton Vienna is the third Hilton hotel to receive the ECARF seal, after those in Frankfurt and Berlin.
