ECARF Seal of Quality awarded to Freudenberg’s particle filters

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) has awarded Freudenberg's micronAir office filters with the ECARF Seal of Quality for allergy-friendly products and services. Dust filtration tests carried out by ECARF allergy experts have shown that the filter inserts meet all criteria for certification.

"This filtration technology is a great help to allergy sufferers, especially in everyday life at the office," says Prof. Dr. med. Torsten Zuberbier, head of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF). "For example, it filters out particles emitted by printers before they can enter the mouth or nose. Persons with chronic respiratory disease experience improved quality of life and increased productivity at the workplace."

The ECARF-certified filter inserts can be used in particle filters designed for office equipment such as printers, copiers or document shredders. The individual filter liners consist of a multi-layered, synthetic-organic non-woven recyclable material.

The European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) awards the ECARF Seal of Quality according to scientifically determined criteria to products and services that are suitable for use by allergic persons. The Seal offers allergy sufferers with pragmatic solutions to help them significantly reduce contact with allergens and allergy triggers.
